Is Ranveer Singh working on a new look for Zoya Akhtar's upcoming crime drama?
Bollywood star Ranveer Singh may have been making headlines for his 20-hour sleeping schedule in the lockdown, thanks to wife Deepika Padukone. But, according to the latest reports doing the rounds, it looks like the actor is finally done with his marathon snooze fest.
A picture of the star striking a pose with a popular hair-stylist in the city has given rise to speculation that he may just be working on a new look for director Zoya Akhtar's next. Said to be a crime-drama, Ranveer is expected to play the role of an undercover cop who infiltrates an underworld gang. With the lockdown restrictions now eased, director Zoya is reportedly keen on conducting a look test with her 'Gully Boy' star.
Reports state that Ranveer, who has made many roles iconic with his drastic transformations and defining avatars, will aim at doing the same with this film. Rumour has it that he will sport two different looks for his cop act and the other as a gangster.
While the film will see Ranveer as the leading man, the buzz is that Katrina Kaif will feature as the leading lady.
