Amitabh Bachchan returns home after testing negative for Covid-19; thanks almighty and fans for their prayers

Amitabh Bachchan had announced on July 11 that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. Now after almost 23 days, the veteran actor has finally tested negative for the deadly virus. The 'Piku' star took to his social media handle to share the great news with his 'extended family' i.e his fans and followers.

Big B thanked the almighty, his parents and his fans for their prayers.

Expressing his gratitude, Big B took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "T 3613 - I have tested CoVid- have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. Grace of the Almighty, blessings of Ma Babuji, prayers & duas of near & dear & friends fans EF .. and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this day."

The actor will be under solitary home quarantine for the next few weeks. He reached his home in an ambulance.

However, Big B's actor-son Abhishek Bachchan will stay at the hospital since he has again tested positive for Covid-19 due to 'some comorbidities'. "I, Unfortunately, due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, Thank You all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I'll beat this and come back healthier! Promise," Abhishek had tweeted.

Abhishek's wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya had also contracted the virus and they were discharged on July 27 after testing negative for the deadly virus.

We hope Abhishek is also back home soon. We wish him a speedy recovery.
