'Jug Jugg Jeeyo's first song is out: Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor groove to electrifying beats

The makers of 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' have released the first song 'The Punjaabban Song' of the film. The cast of the film shared the music video of the energetic dance number on their social media account, on Saturday.
Posting the video, Varun Dhawan wrote, "Everybody, 'Nachh Punjaabban, Nachh Punjaabban, Nache! The wedding banger is here"
In the song, Varun, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor along with Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli perform Bhangra on dhol beats. The track is a remix of 'Nach Punjaban', a Pakistani song. Gippy Grewal, Zahrah S Khan, Tanishk Bagchi, and Romy sang the song, which was written by Tanishk Bagchi and Abrar Ul Haq.
The song was mired in controversy after Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq has alleged plagiarism in connection with a song sung by him and has threatened legal action. Later, Bhushan Kumar's music company shared a post clarifying the same. The post read, "We have legally acquired the rights to adapt the song Nach Punjaban from the album Nach Punjaban released on iTunes on 1st January, 2002 and is also available on #LollywoodClassics' YouTube channel, owned and operated by @1moviebox Records Label, for the film #JugJuggJeeyo produced by @dharmamovies. All due credits shall be included across all platforms when song releases. As represented by @1moviebox Records Label the said song copyrights exclusively vest with moviebox only with all valid documents."
Helmed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar, 'JugJugg Jeeyo' is all set to hit the theatres on June 24, 2022.
