Shah Rukh Khan's Khar office offered for Covid-19 quarantine purpose lying unused
Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan have taken up a lot of initiatives for Covid-19 relief which also includes financial help as well. Last month the couple had offered their Mumbai office building to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, to convert the place into a quarantine facility. However according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the four-storey building in Khar is lying unused as the BMC was not able to operate there due to lack of doctors to run the facility.
"This crisis is not going to pass in a hurry; it will take its time and its toll on all of us. It will also show us that there isn't really a choice between looking out for ourselves and looking out for one another," Shah Rukh had earlier said in a statement while Gauri Khan had also thanked the BMC in a post on social media.
Earlier SRK had shared that his companies will extend financial aid to daily wage workers and acid attack survivors among others. The actor had also contributed an undisclosed amount towards PM Cares and Maharashtra CM's Relief fund. Recently Shah Rukh Khan owned KKR also took up initiatives for those affected by Amphan cyclone.
