Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's film shoots deferred post hospitalisation for COVID-19?
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan along with son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and grandchild Aaradhya tested positive for the novel coronavirus it was reported over the weekend.
The news which broke, late Saturday night, with the Big B and Abhishek making a formal announcement on their social media handles, was followed with fans flooding social media with prayers, love and good wishes. Latest reports confirm that the family who showed "mild symptoms" of the virus, are being treated at a city hospital.
The unfortunate recent events have reportedly pulled the breaks on the Bollywood stars' shooting schedules. While Amitabh had a couple of film and television projects lined up for completion, Abhishek was seen resuming his post-production work as soon as the lockdown was eased. Besides scheduling days later this month for the completion of his film projects, Jr Bachchan was also set to resume work on Sujoy Ghosh's 'Bob Biswas' in Kolkata, in August.
This latest health scare has reportedly prompted filmmakers to push back the production after the monsoons.
While Abhishek and dad Amitabh are being treated in hospital, Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya are quarantining at their Mumbai home. Jaya Bachchan, who has tested negative, is being closely monitored.
