Prabhas REVEALS which action film out of Baahubali and Saaho was more challenging; Check it out
Prabhas will next be seen on the big screen in his upcoming action thriller Saaho, alongside Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor
One of the biggest superstars of the Indian film industry, Prabhas is currently busy gearing for his next release, the much-anticipated Saaho. He will be sharing the big screen for the very first time with Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor in the action thriller which has been produced with a budget of Rs 350 crore. Written and directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and T-Series, the film will mark Prabhas' debut in Hindi and Shraddha's debut in South cinema.
Thanks to his talent and killer good looks, Prabhas has always been one of the most adored actors in the South film industry. However, it was with the epic action film Baahubali: The Beginning and its sequel Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, that Prabhas became one of the most well-known names in the Indian entertainment industry. It is not only the biggest film of his career, but also the highest grossing movie in the country.
In a recent chat with DNA, the actor opened up on which film he found more challenging. He shared, "Baahubali was definitely more challenging. Saaho is a contemporary film and the action scenes are designed to the next level. But in the former, everything was new. I always wanted to do a period film and the most exciting part was the war."
Prabhas went on to add, "In Saaho, the action is real. The truck that you see sliding in the trailer is real, it is not CG (computer graphics). That vehicle was travelling at a speed of 40 miles per hour and we needed to stop it. That stunt had to be done in real motion and it was extremely hard to stop the truck because the tyre was out of control. So, we got the drivers from the Hollywood film Transformers, and a lot of action and stunt masters from around the world to get that real feel."
Saaho is all set to hit theatres on 30th August.
