Chhichhore review by Varun Dhawan: What an amazing film with a beautiful message
Varun Dhawan watched Chhichhore at a special screening at Yash Raj studio in Mumbai last night, and he was absolutely blown away by it. He took to his Twitter account to heap praise on the film and its director Nitesh Tiwari.
"Watched Chhichhore last night. Had a blast, Nitesh Tiwari. What an amazing film with a beautiful message. You will come home with the whole group. I have 3 people very close to me associated with this film. Go catch it everyone," the actor tweeted.
Varun Dhawan also shared pictures with the three "very close" friends he mentioned - Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma and producer Sajid Nadiadwala - from the screening. Chhichhore also stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Naveen Polishetty, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Prateik Babbar in key roles.
In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Nitesh Tiwari had revealed that he conceptualised the film a few years ago. "Chhichhore has been with me for a long time. I was very keen to tell this side of hostel life. I had to wait for a few years because I didn't have any purpose or any reason for why that side of hostel life needed to be shared with the world. I didn't want it to be just another funny film," he had said.
Earlier, when the trailer of Chhichhore came out, Aamir Khan expressed his interest in watching the film. "Nitesh Tiwari ji, really liked your trailer which you showed me. Wishing you all the very best for the film. May it receive all the love of our audience, and may it bring joy to all of us. Very keen to see it myself. #ChhichhoreTrailer," he had tweeted.
