The first song from Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj Hari Har is high on energy

Akshay Kumar's next Prithviraj is a sprawling period drama. Starring Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and more, the film revolves around Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. As the release date of the historical drama draws closer, a new track from the film has been unveiled. Akshay Kumar took to his social media accounts to share the track titled Hari Har which promises to capture the valour of the King.
Sung by Adarsh Shinde, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with lyrics by Varun Grover, Hari Har is a rousing track bursting with energy and patriotic vibes. The music video is filled with some more of the grand visuals that were teased in the film's trailer. It also offers a closer look at Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj Chauhan.
In a statement, Akshay Kumar said that the song celebrates the "daredevil spirit of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan". Earlier, the actor had opened up about the role saying, "It has truly been an honour to play a man who stood for his country, no matter what the consequence."
Prithviraj, directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwived, I is based on an epic poem by Chand Bardai titled Prithviraj Raso. The film will feature Akshay Kumar in the titular role while former Miss World Manushi Chhillar will make her acting debut starring opposite him as princess Sanyogita. The film's cast also includes Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha and Sonu Sood as the poet Chand Bardai.
Prithviraj arrives in cinemas on June 3.
