'Jawan' box office collection Day 6: SRK's film rakes in Rs 600 crore globally

Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Jawan' is headed for yet another milestone. The film, which released on September 7, is inching close to the Rs 350-crore club in India. Directed by Atlee, the action-thriller also crossed the Rs 600-crore mark worldwide within a week. The film has shattered almost all initial records for a Hindi-origin film and still continues to do so.
'JAWAN' BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 6
'Jawan' is a box office winner. On Day 1, the film earned Rs 74.50 crore across all languages in India. The film went on to witness the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema by minting Rs 129.06 crore worldwide. According to trade reports, on Day 6, September 12, 'Jawan' earned Rs 26.50 crore net in India. Hence, the total collection in India now stands at Rs 345.58 crore. Meanwhile, 'Jawan' had an overall 26.28 per cent occupancy on September 11.
SRK's film has become the fastest film to enter the Rs 300-crore club (nett BOC Hindi) beating 'Gadar 2' and 'Pathaan'. While 'Jawan' breached this mark on Day 6, 'Pathaan' crossed it on Day 7 and 'Gadar 2' on Day 8.
On the other hand, at the global level, 'Jawan' has already crossed the Rs 600-crore mark at the box office, according to trade expert Ramesh Bala.
