Bala Opening Day Box Office Prediction: Ayushmann Khurrana could hit a hat trick this weekend
Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to take over the box office with his upcoming movie Bala. Having six back-to-back hit movies, it seems like Ayushmann is all gearing to set up the flag of his seventh victory.
Ayushmann Khurrana is eyeing a hattrick this year with Bala. The actor already has two successful movies in the form of Dream Girl and Article 15 registered under his name. Ayushmann would be eyeing to end his run this year with a bang through Bala. The Amar Kaushik directorial sees he reunites with two of his heroines. The romantic drama sees Ayushmann take on a risky role and talk about the taboo topic of balding. Ayushmann sports a semi-bald head while he struggles to impress the girl of his dreams.
He resorts to all kinds of tricks to restart hair-growth but fails. So how does he manage to win the girl and does his hair problems end all his life problems? We'll have to watch the movie to find out. But what we do know is that Ayushmann's weekend release is expected to open with a bang. Trade analyst Girish Johar tells Pinkvilla that Bala stands a chance to open big at the box office on Friday.
"Ayushmann has a great tracking right now. He's already given six back-to-back hits and I am all positive that Bala would be the seventh hit. He has a knack of picking the right stories to tell in a humourous way and breaking a taboo subject. Bala is looking positive and with a good word of mouth, I peg the film to start anywhere between Rs 8 to Rs 10 crores on its Day 1," he shares.
Although Ujda Chaman - which deal with the same subject - released last week, it seems like the movie might not affect Bala's box office collection this weekend. Bala is expected to release on more than 1200 screens. Are you planning on watching Bala?
