Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in Farhad Samji's Housefull 4 with Akshay Kumar, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh and Pooja Hegde is all geared up for her next, Panipat with Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Kriti will portray the role of Parvati Bai in the movie. After the trailer of Panipat was out, Kriti's look as the Maratha warrior was appreciated a lot by the viewers. Kriti herself is honoured to portray the role of Parvati Bai in the movie.

In the movie Panipat, Arjun Kapoor will be seen as Sadashiv Rao Bhau and Sanjay Dutt as Ahmed Shah Abdali. Panipat is based on the Third battle of Panipat between Sadashiv Rao Bhau and Ahmed Shah Abdali for India. The trailer of the film won the hearts of the fans. The movie also stars Zeenat Aman, Padmini Kolhapure, Mohnish Bahl in important roles. Panipat is slated to release on December 6, 2019. Besides this Kriti will also be seen in Mimi which is inspired by the 2010 Marathi movie Mala Aai Vhhaychy, which featured Samruddhi Porey, Urmila Kanitkar, Sulabha Deshpande and Stacy Bee. The story of Mimi revolves around the acceptance of the concept of surrogacy in India.
