In an interview with Pinkvilla, Rakesh Roshan, whose production house Filmkraft Productions left no stone unturned for a grand re-release of Karan Arjun on November 22, discussed Hrithik Roshan's voiceover in the new trailer of the film. Earlier, a different person had given his voice. However, the filmmaker revealed that while preparing for the re-release of the 1995 film, Hrithik heard the voiceover and was mesmerised by it. So he asked his father, "It's given me goosebumps! Wow, what a trailer. Can I do the voiceover?"
