The screenplay is a collaboration between Basharat Peer, Neeraj Ghaywan, and Sumit Roy, with dialogues by Neeraj Ghaywan, Varun Grover, and Neeraj Dubey.
Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under Dharma Productions, the film benefited from mentorship by Scorsese during its development.
