SYNOPSIS: Inspired by true life events, The Buckingham Murder is a story of loss and redemption. Through the protagonist 'Jasmeet Bhamra', we see how life can't be undone, but can be rebuilt. Set in the laid-back settlement Thames Valley, a small market town in the south of Buckingham; the locality is facing an undercurrent of tension off late, what with the rising issues amongst the Indian & Pakistani diaspora who have settled there. The gated community known for the infamous conflict, also harbours youngsters who are a part of the underground music scene. Our story revolves around Jasmeet Bhamra (Jass), 28, Detective Superintendent of the Thames Valley Police's Major Crime Unit. Jass has rejoined the unit after a two month long personal leave and everyone can see a stark difference in her. After a personal tragedy, she grapples with her grief as she is assigned a case, closer home to her own personal demons, which sinks her deeper in the mess.
